Mid-year Reception intake
When your child starts in the St Raphael's School mid-year Reception intake they will engage in 18 months of Reception learning.
Our mid-year intake is available for children who turn five during the period 1 May to 31 October. To check appropriate enrolment ages please use our enrolment calculator.
We would love to WELCOME your family to St Raphael’s School. Our decision to offer a Mid-Year Reception Intake is backed by research emphasising the benefits of high-quality early learning experiences. Students beginning in Term 3 typically spend 18 months in Reception before moving on to Year 1.
To ease financial burdens on families, the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools (SACCS) is offering free tuition for Reception students joining the Mid-Year Reception Intake in Terms 3 and 4. This initiative aims to support families by covering tuition fees and essential charges, excluding uniforms and extracurricular expenses.
