Hello! I'm Amy Pellegrini, and I'm passionate about fostering the wellbeing and growth of children. As a Wellbeing Officer, I play a diverse role in our community, working with children and families in various capacities. I help run the playgroup, facilitate the Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), and work within the classrooms to support students' educational and emotional needs.

I'm a qualified Youth Worker and Counsellor, and I'm currently on the path to becoming a certified teacher. This journey has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of working with young people. My mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive, learn, and grow into compassionate individuals.

One of my key projects is running a program called "What's the Buzz," which is a neuroaffirming, evidence-based, social, and emotional literacy program. This program is considered the gold standard in teaching neurotypicals and neurodivergents alike the skills to live generously within a community. "What's the Buzz" embraces the idea that everyone experiences the social and emotional world differently, and it encourages children to express their feelings and actions in their own compassionate way. We believe that there's no one-size-fits-all approach, and we celebrate the diversity of thought and experience.

In everything I do, my focus is on promoting the wellbeing of children and helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in life. Whether it's through playgroup activities, OSHC programs, classroom support, or now through the dedicated social and emotional wellbeing programs I lead, I'm dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the children I work with. I look forward to connecting with you and your family to create a supportive and inclusive community together.
