Why we love Book Week
Book Week and the dress-up parade are valuable to literacy education and social values at primary school for several reasons. Firstly, it helps to promote a love for reading among children. By celebrating books and stories, children are encouraged to read more and develop a lifelong habit of reading. This, in turn, can improve their literacy skills and help them perform better academically.
Aliens, cats, caves and other adventures in our Year 5 PODCASTS
We have once again this year worked with Arch D Radio to provide training to our Year 5 students in podcasting. The end result are four excellent and insightful podcasts for your listening pleasure. Thank you to Arch D Radio for this incredible learning opportunity and for leading our staff and students so well throughout the process.
