Inspiring Commonwealth Games medallist leads primary school sports program
Jeanette Archer is St Raphael’s Catholic School P.E. Teacher and Sports Coordinator. She brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and talent to her role. Her love of sports and health and her past experiences as a Commonwealth Games athlete make her an inspiring and talented teacher for our healthy and active learners. We sat down with Jeanette to ask her how her past sporting achievements have influenced her teaching career.
For the LOVE of reading
St Raphael’s Catholic School fosters a love of reading from Reception to Year 6. We love reading and we love hearing which books our learners are currently enjoying. Our reading and literacy programs are led by our wonderfully skilled and dedicated staff. During Book Week, our learners engaged in buddy reading sessions. These opportunities strengthen the connection between our learners, enhance their reading and listening skills and allow a deeper sense of belonging in our school community.
